13 weeks of prayer for ESBC

Join us every Thursday from now until Homecoming for 10 minutes of prayer for East Sanford Baptist Church! We are entering into a season of intentional prayer for spiritual revival here at ESBC. Each week a new prayer focus will can be found here. Dedicate 10 minutes every Thursday to praying through these prayer concerns.

Week 13: October 10 - That members would become disciples who make disciples, and be committed to Christ, His church and one another. That members would love one another, bear one anothers burdens, care for one another and pray for one another. That we would be many members of one body.

Week 12: October 3 - That members would be good and do good in their communities, workplaces and wherever they are this week so that God can be lifted up and glorified through them!

Week 11: Septermber 26 - That members would share the gospel this week—and see more conversions!

Week 10: September 19 - That the members would grow in being distinct from the world in love and holiness, even as it engages outsiders.

Week 9: September 12 - That the church’s prayers would be infused with biblical ambitions (seeking all the promises and power of God), honesty (confessing and pouring out our lives before Him), and humility.

Week 8: September 5 - That the church’s primary teachers grow in dedication to God’s Word even when no one’s watching.

Week 7: August 29 - That the church’s songs would be moments of worship that teach members to biblically confess, lament, and praise.

Week 6: August 22 - That transparent, meaningful relationships would become normal and remaining anonymous strange.

Week 5: August 15 - That the preaching of God’s Word would be biblically careful and Holy Spirit imbued.

Week 4: August 8 - That faithful men of God would rise up and serve as elders who would use Scripture to train members to do the work of ministry.

Week 3: August 1 - That a hunger for studying the gospel would form among members so that they can guide and guard one another in it.

Week 2:  July 25 - That a culture of discipling would form in which making disciples is viewed as an ordinary part of the Christian life.

Week 1: July 18 - That we would have unity amid diversity—loving one another, those who are like us, and those with whom we have nothing in common but the gospel.
